The Legend of Flimmy

On the 22nd of the 6th I had a interview with my teacher and one of my parent. We had to explain our learing for the first sermester.We had to explain our strengths and way that we could improve.We also had a slide show that could help us.We then had a talk with the teacher about our learing. that was interesting how the teacher thought of our learing.

On the 23rd of June the Power Communtito y came and for the second visit. We learnt how harmful smoking is.We also learnt a scenario that involes friend smoking and deasion making that smoking related to. We also learnt that we need to think for our selfs and make the right deasion in the short term and the long term.

My class and I are reading a story called Storm Boy. This book is about a kid who lived near the coorong in Australia. He has some one that lives with him, his name was Hide Away. He is also a companied by  three pelicans named Mr proud, Mr ponder and Mr perserval. We also had to do diffrent activeties for each chapter and how the auther uses words and all the story based words.

My class and I did a art piece which was based on a circle and we had a chance to change the circle or put something in it.Mine is called spyro and it was basiclly it was about 3or4 circles and did curve lines and made a easy colour mix. it was black and white so it looked very effective.

My class and I went to Hindmarsh island for a camp. One of the activities we as a group did was a study of water way. Our instructor guilded us to the mouth of the murray and exlained us how all of the water usage effect the murray. There has also a decent amount of tube worms forming next to the river.He also told this is really bad as because it acidy and this could harm us if it was put in the murray. We also found out that the murray is really drained down because we (when i mean us i mean nearly every one is Australia) are always using the water in the murray and this is bad because as then we might run out of water.

We made an art piece tun hat had interconnected circles. The art style we used was bass on an arties called Wassily kandinsky.Basically we drew a few circlesand cut them out.Then we interconnented them and we then had to make a theme to our art piece. Many people made a animal or something that was already made.It was fun as then we had to make something creative to show. We then glued it down to a piece of paper. That was how we made a abstract art piece.

This quote caught my attention because it is very simple and it gives a very strong and clear meaning.

I believe that good leaders are made from good servants and that they are not born into good leaders. This quote reminds me that some people work very hard as a servant to become good leaders. In this quote good leaders are people that show the way to help others to get to their goal. Good leaders also look in the team’s eye and try to help others in the team’s point of view. They care for others and have respect for others and show manners to their team mates. For example SRC reps help the school in many ways such as fundraising. This is done for no self reward. They have done several activities that are enjoyable for students such as casual days. The SRC reps are doing the hard work for us to help others in need by raise money. In conclusion leaders are required to serve others as a servant that needs help.

In my opinon Leaders are made because any one can become a leader and that give the right for any one to become a leader. In the end I  believe That Leaders are made and are not born.

Over the last four days the quote as been one of the strongest quote so far in this term. My opinion of this quote is great as  the quote help people learn that friends are not for granted.Many people want friends but are not friends them selfs. However I believe everyone should have friends but don’t have friends and this might be the cause of there lack of friends.For example If you are not a friend to someone than they won’t want to be your friend.

There is a guy and he picks up cigarette butts for every 8 cigarette butts he can make one cigarette to smoke. If he picks up 64  cigarette butts how many cigarettes can he smoke?

answer: 9 because he makes 8 cigarettes than he smokes them all and makes a new one to smoke
